This is an excellent device. Both of my Panasonic units are now region free for DVD. It was simply a metter of powering on and opening the disc tray. Fired the device at the unit a couple of times and once the display showed "1B" shut down the machine, unplugged it for 10 secs, plugged it in again, and Bob's yer proverbial....

The multi-region remote worked first time on my Panasonic DMP-BDT120, I kept the disc draw open during the process as this Blu-Ray player doesn't have a dedicated disc mode without inserting a disc. Now plays all my DVDs from any region. Totally painless & easy to do thanks to the comprehensive instructions & batteries included with the device. The remote, with very clear written instructions, arrived on time and well-packaged, important because it's quite a delicate item.
