      BETTER THAN THE RF VERSION

      I didn't have to think long in deciding to purchase this lens. The condition of the lens at this price point was simply irresistible. Simply put, the combination of solid build, internal zoom movement, crisp autofocus, and extremely fine glass made this purchase a no-brainer. But to top all this, the performance of this generation lens on my EOS R5 via Canon adapter is to die for. Sure, it's heavy, but do a comparison shoot with it and the RF version on the same camera and you'll laugh at the thought of dismissing this lens because your arm may possibly get a little tired. The images I've gotten so far from this lens are not only comparable to those from the RF version but, at times, even superior in their rendering.       Great lens for wedding filmmakers!

      What the fuss is all about!

      It’s logical why this lens is a staple in any lens kit! Super fast, smooth, clear shots and quite a range from 70-200mm. Image stabilization and f/2.8 are worth the upgrade. This lens is a beast! There is a downside to its bulkiness, aside from that it practically punishes all my other lenses in quality.
