To me it seems impossible to insert the blind with the end fittings in place without cutting a slot in the end bracket white plastic housing to accept the metal tongue of the roller blind actuating wheel (see photo). The roller core is steel. Others aluminium) with a ready made insertion point above the cupped pin end of the roller (opposite to actuation end) with an insert section to cover this slot once the blind is in position.
