I was paying an average of $50/yr for the Sky-Caddie service (on top of purchasing the device). This Garmin watch will pay for itself in just two years and then save me $50/yr for as long as it lasts. It has very similar functionality; but best thing is that it is more automatic (e.g., it automatically goes from hole to hole -- without the user having to press buttons to move forward, etc.). Only challenge is that it is not intuitive yet how to get to the menu for the different options (e.g., golf course, daily steps, etc.)

This Garmin GPS watch is very easy to set up and use. The Garmin Connect app allows you to set up the watch to a smartphone, so you can get messages and other phone info on the watch. It is lightweight and easy to read. The golf functions are accurate and it also tracks your steps for fitness buffs..

I went from a Golf Buddy piece that I wore on my hat to this watch so that was a bit of a difference for me. But the band is extremely comfortable and light, so I quickly got used to wearing it on my wrist. The only negative I have experienced so far is that it doesn't always automatically switch to the next hole, so I have to make sure as I tee off that it has switched. Otherwise I am enjoying it.

While I haven't tried the hook-up to my phone, I love everything about the watch. It is well worth the money, even after checking out all the possible watches. I thought it might be a little big for a petite female wrist, but it is actually just right and very fashionable. I am so glad that I switched to this brand!

Great, affordable golf gps watch. Easy to use and accurate. Only thing I think is lacking is a back light function to be able to check time at night.
